Hey Weekenders β€”

July is here, and so are the festivals, fireworks, food truck nights, concerts, county fairs, and summer traditions that make this one of the most exciting times to explore South Jersey.

This year is especially memorable as communities across the region celebrate America's 250th Anniversary, with many towns hosting expanded Independence Day celebrations, patriotic events, drone shows, parades, and spectacular fireworks displays. Whether you're celebrating close to home or looking for a new town to explore, there's no shortage of ways to enjoy the holiday.

And don't worryβ€”we'll still be back in your inbox every Thursday with our regular weekly issue featuring updated event details, new additions, and our favorite picks for the upcoming weekend.

Let's kick off summer.

SOUTH JERSEY FIREWORKS & DRONE SHOW GUIDE

Nothing says summer quite like fireworks lighting up the night sky! We've rounded up many of the biggest fireworks displays and drone shows happening across South Jersey to help you plan your Independence Day celebrations. Most fireworks begin at dusk or shortly after sunset (typically between 9:00–9:30 PM), even if festivities start much earlier in the day.

While we've worked to verify every event, schedules, times, and even dates can change due to weather or decisions by individual municipalities. We also know there may be a few smaller community celebrations we didn't catch. Before heading out, we recommend checking your town's official website or social media pages for the latest updates.
