Hey Weekenders —

South Jersey, this weekend is doing the most—in the best way. Between winter festivals, tea parties, bluegrass brunch, and a full slate of local events, there’s plenty to get you out of the house without going far. We’ve also rounded up a few of our favorite spots to celebrate National Margarita Day, plus a Local Spotlight on the flooring team we trusted in our own home and a sneak peek at a new real estate section that’s coming soon.

Whether you’re chasing live music, dressing up for a colonial tea, or just planning a casual tacos‑and‑margs night, there’s something in here to fill your calendar (and maybe your glass).

🍹 National Margarita Day – Sunday, February 22

February 22 is National Margarita Day, which feels like a pretty good reason to make plans with tacos, salt rims, and a designated driver. Here are a couple of spots running specials, plus more South Jersey places where we’ve personally loved the margs.

🌮 Central Taco & Tequila – Haddon Township
📍 350 Haddon Ave, Haddon Township
Central Taco is already a go‑to for tacos and tequila, and Margarita Day just gives you an extra excuse to grab a table. With a deep tequila list and plenty of fresh‑juice margarita options, it’s a great place to build your own flight, try something spicy or smoky, and soak it all up with chips, guac, and street‑style tacos.

🍸 Rexy’s Restaurant & Bar – Haddon Township
📍 700 Black Horse Pike, West Collingswood Heights
Rexy’s is celebrating National Margarita Day with $5 margaritas all day on Sunday, February 22, turning an already solid classic into a true Sunday Funday deal. Their margs are already a local favorite, so this is an easy meet‑up spot for friends, bar bites, and a couple of rounds without blowing the budget.

More South Jersey spots we like for margaritas:

  • Tortilla Press Cantina – Merchantville

  • La Esperanza – Lindenwold

  • Los Jalapeños – Oaklyn

  • Azule Tequila Bar & Restaurant – Sicklerville

  • La Cantina – Blackwood

However you celebrate, pace yourself, drink some water between rounds, and don’t forget the extra chips and salsa.

We definitely haven’t tasted every margarita in South Jersey yet, so hit reply and tell us your favorite spot—we’ll add it to our list to check out next time.

Simple Charm Flooring
📍 Good Intent Rd, Deptford NJ -📞 (856) 402‑2104

We recently had our own floors done by Simple Charm Flooring, so this shout‑out comes from experience. The family‑owned shop has been in the flooring game for more than 20 years (formerly Familiare Family Flooring), and they’re great at talking through real‑life needs—kids, pets, budgets—without making you feel pressured or rushed. From hardwood and carpet to luxury vinyl plank and tile, their showroom is packed with options, and they’ll even bring samples to your home so you can see how everything looks in your actual light. If you’ve been side‑eyeing your tired living room or dated hallway for a while, this is a solid local crew to call before you start scrolling big‑box sites.

🏡 Coming Soon: Real Estate Corner

Keep a look out, we’ll be adding a weekly real estate section featuring one standout South Jersey listing—think interesting homes, cool neighborhoods, and practical info for anyone who’s casually browsing or seriously house‑hunting. Each week we’ll spotlight a new property plus share a few quick market notes to keep you in the loop, whether you’re buying, selling, or just love peeking inside other people’s houses.

🧤 That’s a Wrap for This Week’s Lineup

If you end up at any of these events—or find a new favorite margarita along the way—hit reply and tell us; we’re always looking for more places to feature and check out ourselves.

Keep an eye out for our upcoming Real Estate Corner, where we’ll highlight an interesting local listing each week alongside all the usual food, drink, and event picks. Until then, enjoy the weekend, support a few mom‑and‑pop spots, and we’ll see you back in your inbox soon.

Cheers!
